About Nandhini<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tNandhini has wanted to write almost since she first opened a book. Her mother, an English teacher in Chennai (formerly Madras), India, ignited the love of books in her two brothers and her. Nandhini lived in Chennai until she left in her twenties to follow her scientist husband, first to Switzerland for three years and then to the USA in 1988. Along the way, she became a mother to two girls; the younger one has Down syndrome.<\/span>\n

\nShe worked as a Research Assistant in science labs at the University Of Rochester, NY, Harvard University, Boston, and Georgetown University, Washington DC. She has also worked as a budget analyst and program manager at GU. Nandhini finally quit working to pursue her first love, writing. She completed her novel, \u201cKurinji Mountains,\u201d which she started decades ago in her teens. In another life, she worked in the Indian Railways and a bank as an accountant.\n

\nSince Nandhini doesn\u2019t have a literary background, she took many writing courses and continues to do so at Authors Publish in Literary Fiction, Romance, Novella, Non-Fiction, Flash, Poetry, Essays, and Memoir Writing.\n

\nNandhini calls Rockville, Maryland home, where she lives with her husband, daughter, and many books.<\/span>\n
